This past Saturday November 12, Kathleena donated her time and talents to benefit the Girl Up project by preparing television actress, Alexandra Daddario (of “Parenting”) for her presentation in front of a group of teens.
Girl Up is a campaign of the United Nations Foundation that gives American girls the opportunity to channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls.
Close to half of today’s 1.2 billion young people between the ages of 10 and 19 are adolescent girls, and most of them live in developing countries. Many girls struggle for basic opportunities to go to school, see a doctor, or be included in their communities. By making these opportunities available to girls, we can make a lifelong impact on their well-being and the well-being of their families, communities, and our world for generations to come.

Whether it’s a celebrity getting ready for on camera press interviews or a bride preparing to walk down the aisle or anyone interested in exploring their beauty, I am passionate about helping people feel and radiate their most beautiful, confident selves.
